There is a wide bicycle network in Oxelösund that is suitable for those who live here and need to get between home and work, but also for those who are visiting and want to get around easily. In the printed tourist map, you can follow the dotted line of the cycle track.

If you want tips on good cycling routes lined with attractions, you are welcome to contact us at the tourist information or talk to them at the reception at the campsite. Then we can give you tips according to your interests and conditions.Even to and from Nyköping there is a proper cycle path.

Sweden's best cycling municipality 2024

In 2024, Oxelösund was voted Sweden's best cycling municipality, according to the cyclists themselves! It is Cykelfrämjandet that conducted the survey Cyclist Velometer. In the Cyclist Velometer 2024, Oxelösund took home the top spot in the Small Municipalities category but also became number one in the Top Municipalities category nationally.

Jogersö Eco Camp rents bikes for both adults and children. You can book yourself in the campsite's digital booking calendar. You can book both full and half days.

At Ramdalen's sports center there is a gym, relaxation area, swimming pool, sports hall, indoor boules courts and café/shop.

Femörefortet

Experience the exciting and top-secret Femörefort, which is hidden in the mountain at Femöre.

Sjöfartsmuseet

The museum is located in central Oxelösund. Here you get a historical guide with a focus on the port, the shipping company and pilotage throughout time.

Palstorps hage

Palstorps hage, adventure farm and forest village. At the adventure park, there are activities for the whole family to enjoy in nature - climbing obstacle courses, playing frisbee golf, learning more about nature in various exhibitions, practicing yoga along the yoga path, riding a cable car, grilling sausages at our rest areas and more.

Jogersö stop

Returning summer 2023.

Lion's train travels around Oxelösund between several different stops and is free to ride. You can ride the train every weekday and Saturday until August 13, 2022. Please note that the train does not run during the Midsummer weekend.

Skärgårdsvåfflan

Skärgårdsvåfflan is located in the Oxelösund archipelago 9 minutes by car from Jogersö Eco Camp. Sweet and savory waffles are served here, which are popular with everyone. Skärgårdsvåfflan is open seasonally and opens annually on Midsummer's Day and stays open all summer.
